RAF Holmsley South

Ashurst

Dave explores the area around Ashurst. Along the way we come across the site of an Elizabethan Saltpetre House, a Roman Road, an unusual tree and even some free range pigs!

Hale

Here, Dave explores the village of Hale in Hampshire. After skirting the heathland at Hale Purlieu, our route winds along a charming rhododendron – fringed path to Hatchet Green. Brockenhurst

Millyford Bridge

Dave follows a circular route from Millyford Bridge (near Lyndhurst in Hampshire). Along the way we come across the “Portuguese Fireplace Memorial”, the site of an old Sawmill, evidence of a first World Ward narrow gauge railway and plenty of wildlife (including deer & ponies). Bolderwood

Dave takes a walk around Bolderwood in the New Forest. As well as experiencing some stunning woodland we visit the Canadian Cross War Memorial, the Radnor Stone, the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary and even come across an enormous Ants Nest!
