This time, Dave is at Denny Wood and surrounding area – located 2 miles t the South East of Lyndhurst.
My 4 mile circular route takes me along gravel cycle tracks through some stunning woodland & along the way I explore the site of a Medieval Hunting Lodge, a 17th century Stag Park and an Iron Age Hill Fort as well as passing by the start of the Frohawk (Butterfly) Ride.
Half way around the walk I decide to do a 1.5 mile detour to investigate an unusual looking concrete shape on the ground! Whilst it was a fresh Spring day, clouds did cover the glorious sunshine from time to time which resulted in some “darker” images on the video at times! Full details of the route below.
