Dave explores the area to the North – East of Burley.
The 5 mile route is entirely in woodland with wide gravel tracks and fantastic scenery. My ramble takes me through Burley New Inclosure, Burley Old Inclosure, Dames Slough Inclosure, Anderwood Inclosure & finally Burley Outer Rails Inclosure.
During the video I explain the history behind the creation of the inclosures and some of the Acts Of Parliament that were required. Along the way, I discover a huge Ant Nest (!), a quaint Old Keeper’s Cottage & two “sustainable” Forest cottages.
