Dave continues with this super walk at Sway.
I start off with a gentle stroll through the village of Sway itself, including a peep inside the Church, passing the Railway Station & rambling along an old “Smugglers Route” before heading in to one of the most delightful woods in the New Forest – Set Thorns Inclosure – located to the North West of the village.
The route then takes me along an old disused railway line, across heathland and then back to the village where I end up at a charming pub – The Hare & Hounds.
(For some reason, I incorrectly state the names of the Forestry Commission Car Parks. The correct names are A) Longslade Car Park & B) Longslade View Car Park. Please accept my apologies!).
